MemorableLife AI is designed to support Reminiscence Therapy (RT) that is scientifically proven to significantly improve cognitive function and reduce depressive symptoms in older adults - including those with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and Alzheimer’s Disease (AD).
Cultural Touchstones
MemorableLife AI maximises Reminiscence Therapy by using cultural touchstones such as a person’s career and family, or their favourite music and films as well as many other aspects of popular culture. Our system internally identifies the user's cohort—such as The Silent Generation (1928–1945), Baby Boomers (1946–1964), or Generation X (1965–1980) —based on their date of birth. The AI companion then generates empathetic, tailored questions based on these points of reference.

Accessibility
The app is intentionally designed to be fully compatible with Android's accessibility features (such as TalkBackand Voice Access). This ensures that elderly and visually impaired users can control and engage with the app entirely through verbal commands.
Security
The microphone is only active when the app is actively engaged in conversation (not constantly listening), ensuring user privacy and conserving battery life.
Primary Device
The application is optimized for the Google Pixel phones (such as the Pixel 10). The Pixel's advanced Tensor chip and superior microphone quality are critical for accurate speech-to-text conversion and low-latency voice interaction, ensuring the conversation feels snappy and natural.
